The project entailed designing an accessible house in which the clients, retired citizens could age in place. The clients being: Mr. Taylor a retired movie critic of age 62 who maintains a blog and is a freelance writer and his partner of 25 years Mr. Walsh, of age 61; a semi-retired voice coach. •Hobbies they enjoy are hiking trips, nature photography, bird watching, reading, and television/movies.•Clients need ADA and aging in place accommodation in design.•Clients want an indoor dining for over ten people, and an ecological modernism style.•Recently purchased an unfinished home in Charleston, South Carolina.•The Creekside Park neighborhood in Mount Pleasant is only
